The celebration of Mother’s Day can be traced to the times of ancient Greece when tribute was paid to "Rhea", the Mother of the Gods. The next recorded tribute to Mother’s was during the 17a century when England celebrated "Mothering Sunday" on the fourth Sunday of Lent.
