Where there is no law, there can be no crimes. The first question, therefore, is: Are there any international crimes And the answer is No--for several reasons.
In the first place, there is no body of international law explaining what is meant by international crimes. Secondly, national laws are only useful within a particular country, However, efforts have been made to have certain actions internationally recognized as crimes.
